Du möchtest gerne Tanzen lernen, liebst K-Pop oder bist bereits aktiv im K-Pop Cover Dance? Dann herzlich willkommen in der K-Pop Academy 2023!

Die K-Pop Academy ist ein vierwöchiger Tanz-Workshop, bei welchem man dreimal die Woche die Dance-Grundlagen und dann Choreografien zu K-Pop Songs lernt. Dieses Jahr wird die Academy von Dance Coach Jay Kim geleitet, der als Lehrer und Choreograf im 1Million Dance Studio tätig war und mit K-Pop Stars wie Jay Park, The Boyz, Luhan, Mommy Son, Playback und weiteren gearbeitet hat. 

Verfügbar sind 2 Kurse: Ein Kurs für Anfänger und ein Kurs für Fortgeschrittene, welche von 13. November bis 9. Dezember im Korea Kulturzentrum Wien (Kärnter Straße 43, 1010 Wien) und online via Livestreaming stattfinden.

Kurszeiten:

Die maximale Teilnehmerzahl pro Kurs beträgt 15 Personen. 
Für alle anderen werden die Kurse auch live auf YouTube übertragen.

Die Sprache des Unterrichts ist Englisch.

Kosten: Die Kursgebühr für die gesamte Dauer beträgt EUR 50,-

Bei erfolgreicher Absolvierung erhalten Teilnehmer:innen ein Abschlussdiplom.

*Wichtig: Es ist nicht möglich, sich die Termine auszusuchen oder nur an einzelnen Kurstagen teilzunehmen. Wir bitten alle Kursteilnehmer:innen, so weit es geht an allen Terminen teilzunehmen, da ansonsten das Erlernen der Choreografien erschwert wird.

Abschlussaufführung:

Als Abschluss der Academy wird am 9. Dezember eine Abschlussperformance stattfinden, bei der alle Teilnehmer:innen ihr Können und die gelernten Choreografien zeigen können. Genauere Informationen dazu werden noch bekannt gegeben. 

Anmeldung:

Für die Anmeldung ist das Ausfüllen des Anmeldeformulars und die Einsendung eines kurzen Performance-Videos nötig. Letzteres dient der Einstufung deines Niveaus und der Einteilung in den dazu passenden Kurs.
Das Video sollte zwischen 30 Sekunden und 1 Minute lang sein und nicht geschnitten oder aufwendig bearbeitet sein. Bitte lade das Video auf deinem Instagram-Kanal als Instagram Shorts mit dem Hashtag #KoreaKulturzentrumWien hoch und füge den dazugehörigen Link in das Anmeldeformular ein.

Would you like to learn to dance, love K-Pop or are you already active in K-Pop Cover Dance? Then welcome to the K-Pop Academy 2023!

The K-Pop Academy is a four-week dance workshop where you learn the dance basics and then choreographies to K-Pop songs three times a week. This year, the Academy will be led by dance coach Jay Kim, who has worked as a teacher and choreographer at 1Million Dance Studio and has worked with K-Pop stars such as Jay Park, The Boyz, Luhan, Mommy Son, Playback and more.

There are 2 courses available: a course for beginners and a course for advanced students, which take place from November 13th to December 9th at the Korea Cultural Center Vienna (Kärnter Straße 43, 1010 Vienna) and online via live streaming.

Course times:

The maximum number of participants per course is 15 people.

For everyone else, the courses are also broadcast live on YouTube

The language of instruction is English.

Costs: The course fee for the entire duration is EUR 50,-

Upon successful completion, participants receive a final diploma.

*Important: It is not possible to choose the dates or only take part in individual course days. We ask all course participants to attend all dates as much as possible, otherwise it will make learning the choreographies more difficult.

Final performance:

At the end of the Academy there will be a final performance on December 9th, where all participants can show off their skills and the choreographies they have learned. More detailed information will be announced later.

Registration:

To register, you must fill out the registration form and submit a short performance video. The latter is used to classify your level and assign you to the appropriate course.

The video should be between 30 seconds and 1 minute long and should not be cut or extensively edited. Please upload the video to your Instagram channel as Instagram Shorts with the hashtag #KoreaKulturzentrumWien and include the associated link in the registration form. This event will be video recorded and photographed by the Korea Cultural Center. By participating and being present, you agree to be photographed and filmed.
